In the evening hours of December 18, 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the night at the intersection of Appleton and Congress in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, claiming the life of 26-year-old Kentrell Malone. Malone was a passenger in a vehicle, accompanied by 23-year-old Benitaz Pinkin, when an SUV pulled alongside them. Without warning, an occupant of the SUV opened fire on their car.
