In the late summer of 2000, the life of 41-year-old Simone Sampson was tragically cut short in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. On a Monday in late August, Sampson, a female, was discovered shot to death inside a pickup truck in the town of Clarkston, located in Asotin County, Washington. She was found in the driver's seat of the vehicle.
