In the spring of 2016, a quiet Vancouver, Washington neighborhood was unsettled by a violent crime. Fernando Cendejas-Pardo, a 31-year-old Hispanic male, was found deceased on Monday, May 9, 2016, inside a residence in the 4500 block of Nicholson Road. The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office later determined that he had died from multiple gunshot wounds. His death was officially ruled a homicide, prompting an investigation by the Vancouver Police Department.
