In the early morning hours of July 10, 2016, a night that began with the sounds of a party in Walla Walla, Washington, ended in tragedy for 21-year-old Arturo Eduardo Hernandez, a Hispanic/Latino male. At approximately 2:30 a.m., Hernandez was leaving a gathering on the 500 block of Willow Street when an argument broke out. As he walked away from the party, he was shot.
