Jahleel A. Munnings, a 17-year-old from Quincy, Washington, tragically lost his life on February 25, 2017. On that day, Munnings and his friend, Luis Nava Trujillo, were shot in Quincy. While Trujillo survived with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, Munnings was fatally shot in the face and died instantly. The incident left the community in shock and led to an extensive investigation.

The primary suspect in the case was Noel Cardenas, also 17 at the time. Cardenas was apprehended on March 1 ...
