Death by Force

On the evening of November 21, 2017, the life of 45-year-old Carl Gregory Shears Jr., a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting. The incident occurred in Seattle's Central District, near the intersection of 24th Avenue and East Spruce Street. Responding to reports of gunfire in the area, Seattle Police officers arrived at the scene to find Shears with critical injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
