Brandee Jan Thomerson, age 42, was last seen on February 14, 2003, in Portland, Tennessee. She lived with her husband, and the couple co-owned a restaurant called The Iron Skillet. Brandee, who also went by the name "Rita," was known to struggle with bipolar disorder and had a history of drug and alcohol abuse. Her husband did not immediately report her missing, as she had previously disappeared for short periods but always returned.
