In the late summer of 2018, the life of Cody Tyler Brooks, a 31-year-old White / Caucasian male from Bremerton, Washington, was tragically cut short. On September 6, 2018, in the small community of Gorst, just outside Bremerton, a dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion. Law enforcement received a 911 call reporting a man with a gunshot wound on Thorson Road West. Upon their arrival, they discovered Cody Tyler Brooks deceased at the scene, having sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
