A unhoused man is robbed and beaten to death
Walter Jackson, an unhoused man from Seattle, was assaulted and robbed near Sixth Street and Park Avenue in Bremerton in the early morning hours of April 2, 2001. He said he’d been jumped, beaten and robbed by two black men who fled the scene. He was taken to Harrison Medical Center, and then to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died of the injuries April 9.
