Lynn Ann Heimsoth, a 58-year-old principal at Sunnyland Elementary School in Bellingham, WA, was tragically found dead in her home on December 26, 2019. The Whatcom County Medical Examiner's Office ruled her death a homicide, caused by a gunshot wound to the head. Lynn was a beloved educator, known for her innovative approach to education, including the introduction of her therapy dog, Sukha, to help connect with students.
