Death by Force

In the early evening of February 8, 2022, the life of 31-year-old Kasaundra May "Kassy" Booker was tragically cut short in Bellingham, Washington. A woman described by her family as a "beautiful, gentle person" and a "social butterfly," Kassy was found deceased in the stairwell of 22 North, a downtown apartment building providing housing for homeless individuals. An investigation by the Bellingham Police Department quickly determined that she had died from a gunshot wound.
