On a late Sunday afternoon in Sunnyside, Washington, the life of 28-year-old Hispanic male Victor Javier Ramos was tragically cut short. On January 31, 2021, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Ramos was shot in the chest in what police described as a drive-by shooting in the 1200 block of Roosevelt Court. Emergency services responded, and Ramos was rushed to Astria Sunnyside Hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his wound.
