In the spring of 2021, the quiet community of Blaine, Washington, was unsettled by the discovery of a deceased man in Semiahmoo Park. On the afternoon of April 7th, the body of Thomas Flood, a 67-year-old Caucasian male from Whidbey Island, was found along a trail. An subsequent examination by the Whatcom County Medical Examiner's office would reveal that Flood had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was officially ruled a homicide.
