On a summer evening in Tacoma, Washington, the life of 38-year-old Hispanic male Alejandro F. Lloret was brought to a violent end. It was June 26, 2022, and Lloret was at his home on East 52nd Street with his wife and another man when two brothers, Kacy and Jacy Estes, entered his backyard. The brothers, who appeared to be intoxicated, were both armed with handguns. An argument quickly erupted between Kacy Estes and Lloret, the tension in the air thick with unresolved history.
