In the quiet community of Irvine, Kentucky, the life of 29-year-old Ellen Charlene Townsend was tragically cut short on Saturday, January 24, 2015. A resident of Irvine and an employee at a local Wendy's, she had spent her entire life in Estill County. On that Saturday morning, just after 10:30 a.m., her body was discovered on the side of Noland Creek Road in a rural part of the county. An autopsy later confirmed that the mother of three died from a gunshot wound.
