In the quiet community of Eagle in McCreary County, Kentucky, a domestic tragedy unfolded on a Sunday afternoon in late January 2015, leaving a husband and wife dead in what authorities would later describe as an apparent murder-suicide. The lives of Amanda R. Ridner and her husband, Jerry Wayne Ridner, came to a violent end at their home on Eagle Sawyer Road.
