In the quiet town of Corbin, Kentucky, a heart-wrenching story unfolded in February 2015, forever altering the lives of a well-respected family. Dr. Sarah Hendrix, a 54-year-old female, was a dedicated Associate Professor and the Director of the Social Work Program at Union College in Barbourville. Her life, however, was tragically cut short on February 11, 2015, in a devastating act of violence that also claimed the lives of her husband, Kevin Hendrix, and their young daughter, Grace.
