In the late summer of 2015, concern began to grow for 56-year-old Edward Vanwormer of Somerset, Kentucky. The man, who was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle, had not been seen by relatives since early August. Suspicions were further aroused when some of his personal belongings appeared to be missing from his home. A missing person report was filed on September 15, 2015, under circumstances that were deemed suspicious by those who knew him.
