In a quiet neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona, the lives of two men were tragically cut short in early June of 2012. Jorge Garcia, a 34-year-old Hispanic male, and his housemate, Ignacio Barrajas, were found deceased on Monday, June 4, 2012. The discovery was made at their residence located at 4626 S. 5th Street, in a house situated at the rear of the main property.
Authorities responded to a call regarding the deaths at approximately 1:18 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found both Garcia and Barrajas had been shot to death. Investigators determined that the double homicide had likely occurred two days prior to the men being found.
In the years following the murders of Jorge Garcia and Ignacio Barrajas, the case has remained unsolved. Information regarding any potential suspects has not been released to the public, and no arrests have been announced in connection with the shootings.
