In the late summer of 2016, the community of Dunnville, Kentucky, was struck by the death of Montie Pendleton, a 66-year-old retired logger. Born on March 27, 1950, in Casey County, Pendleton passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016. He was a family man, having been married to his wife, Janie Meeks Pendleton, since December 1971.
