A promising future was tragically cut short for Nathaniel McNealy, an 18-year-old Black male from Louisville, Kentucky, who was fatally shot in the early morning hours of October 1, 2016. McNealy was in Lexington visiting friends who were attending the University of Kentucky. Just before 2 a.m., Lexington police were dispatched to a townhouse on Unity Drive following reports of gunfire.
