In the western part of Louisville, on February 2, 2017, the life of Joseph Ervin Bradford, III, a 32-year-old Caucasian male from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. Bradford, a U.S. Army veteran and a father of five, was found in an alley near 17th Street and Broadway, having succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained during an altercation in the 1100 block of Salem Alley.
