Tyra Richelle Dear, a 21-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky, tragically lost her life on February 28, 2019. The incident occurred in the Valley Station neighborhood, specifically in the 9700 block of El Prado. On that fateful day, officers from the Third Division responded to a shooting call. Tyra Dear was initially taken to KY One Southwest Hospital and subsequently transported to University Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
