In the fall of 2019, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. Brandon Michael Fultz, a 23-year-old male, succumbed to a gunshot wound on Sunday, October 20, 2019, following a shooting that had occurred days earlier.
The fatal incident unfolded on the evening of Wednesday, October 16, in the 1900 block of Goldsmith Lane. An argument escalated to the point of violence, resulting in Brandon and another individual being shot.
Both victims were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. While the other victim's identity has not been publicly released, they were also last reported to be in critical condition.
Following the shooting, an arrest was made in connection with the incident. Matthew Martin was taken into custody and is accused of shooting both Brandon and the other victim. In the wake of Brandon's passing, the charges against Martin were elevated to include murder. The altercation was reportedly the result of a dispute.
