In the pre-dawn hours of a Sunday morning in Oak Grove, Kentucky, the life of 21-year-old De’Arius Faulk, a male soldier stationed at nearby Fort Campbell, was tragically cut short. On February 2, 2020, Faulk was found outside a residence at the intersection of State Line Road and Tree Line Drive with a fatal gunshot wound to his shoulder. The discovery was made shortly before 4 a.m. after reports of multiple shots being fired in the area disrupted the quiet of the neighborhood.
