On a street in Oak Grove, Kentucky, the life of Byron O’Neal “BJ” Maclin, a 33-year-old man from Nashville, was brought to a sudden and violent end. In the early morning hours of May 7, 2022, just after midnight, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of Caroline Street. When law enforcement arrived, they discovered Maclin had been fatally shot. The Christian County Coroner pronounced him dead at the scene.
