On a Sunday afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 28-year-old ShaKeria Abrill Blakemore was tragically cut short. On May 10, 2020, police responded to a shooting in the 5300 block of Halsey Court in the Iroquois neighborhood. Arriving at the scene around 12:45 p.m., officers discovered Blakemore and a man, later identified as 32-year-old Brandon Gibbs, both deceased.
