In the summer of 2020, the life of a promising young artist was tragically cut short on the streets of Louisville, Kentucky. Jonah Ware, a 19-year-old Black male, was found dead on the afternoon of Friday, August 7th, in the Chickasaw neighborhood. His death was the result of gunshot wounds, a fact later confirmed by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, which ruled his death a homicide.
