In the autumn of 2020, a life was abruptly cut short on a Friday afternoon in Louisville's Highlands neighborhood. On October 23rd, Reginald Johnson, a 25-year-old male, was walking near the 2000 block of Highland Avenue, close to Baxter Avenue, when the sound of gunfire shattered the afternoon calm around 2 p.m. Officers who responded to the scene discovered Johnson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to University Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he died ...
