In the early hours of a spring morning in Louisville, Kentucky, tragedy struck in the California neighborhood. On April 28, 2021, a 35-year-old Black male named Donte Keaton was found deceased inside a residence on the 2200 block of Howard Street. Responding to a call of a man down at approximately 3:30 a.m., Louisville Metro Police officers arrived at the scene to discover Mr. Keaton had been shot multiple times.
