In the early morning hours of Friday, June 4, 2021, the life of 17-year-old LaMaurie Maurie Trayion Gathings, a Black male from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. Just before 3:45 a.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to a call and discovered a vehicle on Old Park Boulevard, near Crittenden Drive.
