In the summer of 2021, a violent altercation in Clay County, Kentucky, ended the life of Bryan Tate Hammons. A 50-year-old White male from Manchester, Hammons was fatally shot on Saturday, July 17, 2021, outside a residence on Dripping Springs Road. The incident, which occurred at approximately 2:10 PM, stemmed from a physical fight between Hammons and another man, 58-year-old Richard K. Webb of London.
