In the early evening of September 21, 2021, the Portland neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, became the scene of a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 24-year-old Nubian M. Muhammad. Officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department were dispatched to the 1700 block of Bank Street around 7:15 p.m. following a report of a shooting.
