On the evening of February 7, 2022, the life of Deshawn Devon Seewright, a 26-year-old Black male, was cut short by gun violence in Louisville, Kentucky. Louisville Metro Police responded to a report of a shooting in the Park Hill neighborhood around 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival in the 1600 block of West Ormsby Avenue, officers discovered Seewright's body in an alley.
