Jacob Wayne Laxton, a 37-year-old White/Caucasian male, passed away on April 30, 2022, in London, Kentucky. The events leading to his death unfolded on a Saturday morning when Laurel County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence off Laurel River Road, situated about four miles south of London. The call, which came in around 9:45 a.m., was in response to a domestic dispute.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement found Jacob had sustained a gunshot wound to his thigh.
