In the winter of 2011, concerns grew when 19-year-old Katherine Marie Pohjonen, a White female, failed to appear for work in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. A worried co-worker's call to the police on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, led to a grim discovery at the townhouse Katherine shared with her 21-year-old husband, Kalen Pohjonen.
