On the evening of February 26, 2021, a violent confrontation in a rural Minnesota home cut short the life of 42-year-old Devon Lon Remmel, a White/Caucasian male from Grove City. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in Acton Township at approximately 10:42 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Remmel outside the home, suffering from a gunshot wound.
