In the heart of Minneapolis, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm on September 28, 2021, leaving a wake of sorrow and unanswered questions. David Santana, a 42-year-old Hispanic/Latino male, was fatally wounded in the incident, which unfolded in the 2700 block of South Bloomington Avenue. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner later confirmed that Santana's life was ended by multiple gunshot wounds.
