In the afternoon hours of a spring day in Minneapolis, a conversation on a north Minneapolis street turned fatal for I Am King Majesty Allah. The 20-year-old Black male was standing outside a vehicle on April 20, 2022, on the 5100 block of Bryant Avenue North, speaking with the occupants inside. Suddenly, the conversation was shattered by the sound of gunfire.
