Rayshawn Earl James Brown, a 30-year-old resident of St. Paul, was tragically killed on April 23, 2022, in Uptown Minneapolis. The incident occurred near the intersection of Lagoon Avenue and Hennepin Avenue South just before midnight. According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office, Brown died from multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide. This marked the 26th homicide in Minneapolis for the year 2022.
