On the evening of April 8, 2020, Micah Babick, a 30-year-old male from Prairie Village, Kansas, was fatally shot in the parking lot of a McDonald's on 87th Street in Overland Park. The incident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. near the Johnson County Central Resource Library. Police arrived to find Babick deceased from a gunshot wound.
