In the early morning hours of May 7, 2020, the quiet of Junction City, Kansas, was broken by the sound of gunfire. When police responded to a call at 805 W. 11th St., they discovered a grim scene. Inside, two young men lay dead from apparent gunshot wounds. One was Dylan Spencer, a 21-year-old White/Caucasian male, and the other was 19-year-old Aaron Villarreal. Both were residents of Junction City.
