On January 18, 1973, Daud Khaalis, aged 25, was tragically murdered in Washington, D.C. Daud was the son of Hamaas Abdul Khaalis, the leader of the Hanafi Movement. The attack occurred at their residence located at 7700 16th Street NW. The incident was part of a larger massacre that resulted in the deaths of seven people, including Daud.
