In the early morning hours of July 10, 2016, Seth Conrad Rich, a 27-year-old male employee of the Democratic National Committee, was shot and killed in the Bloomingdale neighborhood of Washington, D.C. He was walking home and was on the phone with his girlfriend at approximately 4:19 a.m. when the call abruptly ended.
