In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of 18-year-old Deandre Marshman was tragically cut short. On June 2, 2018, in the 1700 block of Lincoln Road, Northeast, gunshots shattered the predawn quiet. When officers from the Fifth District arrived at the scene around 1:13 a.m. responding to the report of shots fired, they discovered that a young man, a resident of Northeast, D.C., had been struck by gunfire.
