Death by Force

On March 21, 2020, Damaris Lindsey, a 38-year-old resident of Washington, DC, was tragically shot and killed while driving on Interstate 295 in Prince George's County, Maryland. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a vehicle collision near the exit for U.S. Route 50. Upon arrival, police discovered Lindsey in the driver's seat of a van that had crashed into a guard rail. He had sustained gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
