On the evening of April 7, 2020, a young woman's life was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence in Southeast Washington, D.C. The victim was 21-year-old Brea Moon, a female resident of District Heights, Maryland. What began as an ordinary night ended in a hail of gunfire that left a community reeling and a family shattered.
