In the late hours of a spring Saturday in Washington, D.C., violence shattered the night on May 2, 2020. Responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 11:04 p.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the 4500 block of Clay Street, Northeast. There, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was found unconscious and showed no signs of life.
