Jajuan Porter, an 18-year-old from Chicago, was fatally shot on May 6, 2014, in the Chatham neighborhood on the city’s South Side. Around 9:50 p.m., Jajuan was standing on the sidewalk in the 7900 block of South Vincennes Avenue when two gunmen approached. They opened fire, hitting Jajuan multiple times. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving.
