Morgan Holmes, a 54-year-old man, was living on the streets of Washington, D.C. when his life was tragically cut short on March 9, 2022. In the early morning hours, his tent, located near 4th and New York Avenue, NE, became the scene of a brutal attack. Holmes was stabbed and shot before his makeshift shelter was set ablaze.
